long way from the village in the deepest of the woods lived a Wise Woman. Her cottage was surrounded with flowers that always seemed to grow there no matter what the season. It was not the golden light of the sun that awoke her that morning from her dreams...but the wind.
It blew her long black hair from her rosy face and filled her with the beautiful aroma of her garden. It was filled with magical and mysterious plants and herbs that could soothe and nourish any human ills..inlcuding a broken heart.
Not only did the botanical and herbs heal, they enchanced the beauty to whomever used it. The Wise Woman had much to do today and many people to visit. Her trips to the village were rare for she enjoyed the peace and solitude of the nature around her. She dressed and gathered her basket filled with her beauty and healing preparations and climbed onto her beloved black horse, her faithful companion.
By the time the sun was fully awake in the sky, the Wise Woman was on her way... the villagers hopefully awaiting her.

About the name: Ophelia is one of my favorite literary characters from the play 'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare. Instead of the tragic way her life ended,
I like to imagine her in a sanctuary in nature where she spends all day loving and pampering herself. Hence 'Ophelia's Haven' was born.
